The 2023 World Series of Poker Is Set to Launch its Registration on April 13

The 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) will kick off soon.

Its officials recently revealed they would open the tournament’s registration on April 13. The 54th annual WSOP will have online registration for tournaments that will be held inside Paris Las Vegas and Horseshoe Las Vegas.

The 2023 WSOP is highly likely to break previous records due to its many options for players to qualify and play at the WSOP Main Event. Ty Stewart, WSOP Executive Director, and Senior Vice President said that the 2023 WSOP will feature players from different countries, often called the World Championship of Poker.

The Highly Anticipated WSOP Main Event

The 2022 WSOP attracted 197,626 players from over 100 countries, and it had a $347.9 million prize pool. But, this year’s edition will be the largest since it will have 608 tables. It will have a competitive $10,000 Main Event.

Last year’s Main Event was the second-largest in WSOP’s history, with 8,663 entrants. GGPoker will send at least 600 players, and WSOP.com will offer 111 Main Event seats between June 25 and July 8.

The 2023 Main Event will be held on July 14 before the usual July 15 rest day. Then, its final table will witness two days of intense action before announcing the winner on July 17.
