During the World Series of Poker Circuit taking place at Bally’s in Las Vegas, pro player Jason Wheeler was finally able to win his first ring. It was during the $1,675 Main Event, where he beat out the other 1,213 players that were aiming for the ring and the cash. Wheeler walked away with $323,236 in prize winnings, making it the second best live cash of his career. He won $418,122 during the 2009 World Series of Poker when he took second place.
Final Table Showdown
The final table had some big names that Wheeler had to beat in order to get the ring and the cash, but ultimately he was able to take them down and walk away with his prize. The Main Event had a total prize pool of $1,821,000, and with only 9 players left at the final table, it was up for grabs.

Out of the 1,214 entries that participated, 135 got paid. Wheeler had a good chip lead throughout the final table, being able to calmly control his opponents, and was finally able to take down Hamilton on the last hand of the night, where his 
beat her 
with a pair of Kings. He, to say the least, was very happy with his victory,
“I feel really great right now. I’ve been playing really well lately, and I’ve been waiting for a run to culminate in a victory, which is really satisfying.”
Wheeler hasn’t confirmed, but we would expect to see him on the next leg of the WSOP Circuit. With this victory, he also got a $10,000 seat in the 2016 WSOP Global Casino Championship.
WSOP Circuit – Harrah’s in Atlantic City
The next stop on the circuit will be in Atlantic City in New Jersey, where the events will be played in the Harrah’s Resort. There will be twelve events, with a few satellites thrown in the mix to see which players get a free seat at other tournaments. The Main Event will also have a $1,675 buy-in, so we expect there to be the same amount of participants as in Bally’s.
This leg of the journey will go from March 15 up until March 26, with the Main Event being held from the 23rd (Day A) and 24th (Day B) for just a few days. There are plenty of other circuit poker events going on through the United States up until June, so there are plenty to try your luck at.
