From January 18th until the 28th, online poker players will be able to take part in the XL Blizzard, an online poker tournament festival provided by 888poker. The festival will include 34 tournament events with several formats on offer, plus nice prize pool guarantees.

Players can already see the events on the schedule by visiting the 888 XL Blizzard web page. On the first day, the $80,000 Opening Event will start things off with a $109 buy-in. Event #2 is a $15,000 Mini Opening Event with a $12 buy-in and then Event #3 will offer players the $20,000 Late Opening event with a $55 buy-in.
On the 20th, take part in a little Crazy 8 action with three events on the daily schedule. Event #6 will be the $50,000 Crazy 8 tournament with a $88 buy-in. Event #7 and #8 will both offer $15,000 in guaranteed prize money. #7 is the Mini Crazy 8 with an $8.8 buy-in while #8 is the Late Crazy 8 tournament, which has a buy-in of $44. The Main Event will offer a little something extra with the $1 million guaranteed prize pool and will have a $1050 buy-in.
$1 Million Winners Promotion
One awesome aspect of the XL Blizzard festival are the extras that 888 is providing. One promotion the online poker room is offering is titled the $1 Million Winners Promotion. Players who win more than one tournament during the festival will be able to win an extra cash prize. Players who win two events will earn $1,000 in extra cash. If a player wins three events, the prize grows to $10,000. If a player wins four XL Blizzard events, an extra $100,000 is provided. The final prize, $1 million, will be given to a player who can win five tournament events.
