Andre Marques and Benny Glaser Win Big at 2023 PokerStars’ WCOOP

More players are winning titles at the 2023 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). Andre “PTFisherman23” Marques and Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser are the latest champions in the series.

Marques Leads the $5,200 No-Limit Hold’em PKO Thursday Thrill High Roller

The event featured 113 players, and it had a $650,000 prize pool. Lex “L. Veldhuis” Veldhuis from Team PokerStars was in great shape but left the tournament in the 20th position with $1,875.

Dimitar “KuuL” Danchev busted the money bubble. Some of the players who cashed included Samuel Vousden, Pedro “pvigar” Garagnani, Ramiro “ramastar88” Petrone, and Sergi “srxagirona” Reixach. Patrick “pads1161” Leonard got busted early at the final table.

Granter7777 and Andrey “Kot Spartac” Kotelnikov left the table in the eighth and seventh places, respectively. “boerni21” exited the event in sixth place. “neeno1990” and Dmitry “yurasov1990” Yurasov finished fifth and fourth.

Preben “prebz” Stokkan’s run ended in the third position, setting up a heads-up match between Simon “C.Darwin2” Mattsson and Marques. Each of the two finalists got a $74,876 prize and competed for the huge remaining bounty payments.

Marques outsmarted Mattsson and secured $104,527 bounties. He sent his opponent packing in second place with a $94.290 total prize.

Benny Glaser won his 20th COOP title in the $1,050 World Championship of 2-7 Triple Draw. The event attracted 99 players, and it had a $91,000 pool.

They formed a six-handed final table featuring Tobias “Senkel92” Leknes, Renan “Internett93o” Bruschi, and “brunojardes1.” Glaser had the largest stack when the table’s action kicked off.

Leknes’ run ended in sixth place. brunojardas1 and Bruschi exited the event in fifth and fourth place. WTFOMFGOAO finished third, and Blackbeaty was the runner-up with a $17,184 consolation prize.
