World Championship Of Online Poker 2021

The 2021 World Championship of Online Poker wrapped up on September 15 when bringing another successful series of online poker events to an end. The final real money poker event was the WCOOP-91-H: $5,200 NLHE Main Event. In addition to the high-rolling main event, o medium and low-stake Main Events also wrapped up.

WCOOP-91-H: $5,200 NLHE Main Event

The player who managed to top the event used the nickname “CrazyLissy,” and they waved the Russian flag, pointing out their country of origin. “CrazyLissy” managed to overcome a huge disadvantage in the heads-up and emerge victorious against the final opponent — Pascal Lefrancois, who used the online moniker “Pass_72.”
After topping the event, the Russian player officially won a total of $1,499,942 as the main prize. Lefrancois, on the other hand, had to settle for the consolation prize — a $1,069,210.

“CrazyLissy” is an experienced player who already recorded a title in a WCOOP event. They won the 2019 WCOOP-61-H: $2,100 NLHE last time.

The event attracted a total of 1,965 entrants, who failed to match the guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000.

The third-place belonged to Stevan “random_chu” Chew from Australia, winning a total of $762,169. Moreover, “Rebel FishAK” from Romania ended up fourth, earning $543,301 for their effort.

Marco “marcozevola5” Zevola from Argentina ended in fifth place for $387,284, and Markus Prinz, who uses the nickname “playboy99999” was sixth for $276,069.

One of the most popular players in the final table was definitely Linus Loeliger, known as “LLinusLLove” in online circles. Loelinger won $196,792 as the seventh-placed player. The eighth place belonged to a Lithuanian player, “necgaidziai,” who won $140,180. The first player to hit the rail in the final table was Tyler Jardine from Canada, who users the nickname “Juicy_J_93.” Tyler’s prize for reaching the last part of the event was $99,997.

WCOOP-91-M: $530 NLHE Main Event

The WCOOP-91-M: $530 NLHE Main Event lasted for only four hours before it whittled down to the top nine participants. In the end, a player from Sweden nicknamed “festen x” won the main prize — a total of $549,008.

They faced a Peruana player, “Play4livin,” in the heads-up, and the opponent had to settle for the consolation prize of $391,349. The entire prize pool for this event was $3,891,500, as a total of 7,783 entries were recorded. Other players who made it to the final table are “/Chompiras/0,” “rickiolsen1988,” “Castanella,” “pr0_nl,” “benea29,” “luily021,” “Tfete.”

WCOOP-91-L NLHE Main Event

The Low Main Event WCOOP title went to the hands of “pagan_junior” a player from Sweden, who earned a total of $193,653 for their effort. They faced “sNap36493” from Belarus in the heads-up and made a deal in the end. However, the Belarus player lost and had to settle for the smaller amount — $138,027. This Main Event lasted for approximately two hours before the winner was decided.
