The Most Expensive Poker Tournament Has Just StartedThe amount of money you need in order to buy yourself a place in a tournament is usually considered the “price” for the tournament. The bigger the price, the more expensive the tournament and vice versa. What would you consider an expensive tournament? WSOP Main Event usually requires players to pay $10,000 in order to play, but in the poker world, that is not a pricey event.

Triton Super High Roller Series is actually considered the most expensive tournament nowadays. Starting on August 1 and lasting for three days, this tournament will gather the wealthiest people in poker who will test their skills and luck against each other in order to win even more money than they had.

Background on the Triton Super High Roller Series

In 2012, 2014, and 2018 the tournament took place in Las Vegas and the Main Event required players to pay a buy-in price of $1,000,000. Tournament Format

Furthermore, each side will further be segregated during the initial six play levels and no late registration is enabled on the tournament.

The tournament staff will make sure that all sides are relatively balanced and that an invited player and their guests are separated until the final table.
