On August 20, a popular event by the World Series Of Poker (WSOP) kicked off in Nevada and New Jersey. The Rio Online Circuit Event is a series of 12 tournaments happening on WSOP NJ and WSOP Nevada. The tournament is scheduled to end on August 31.
In total, WSOP has planned to give at least $1 million in prizes during the series. Moreover, every real money poker contest comes with the highly recognized WSOP Gold Ring for the top winner.
Besides the 12 contests, there are several ongoing promotions as part of the online circuit event. This includes a sequence leaderboard and freeroll tournaments.
All Eyes on Event #10
All eyes are on the $250,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event #10 Main Event. It has an entry fee of $535 and will allow three different re-entry preferences. It is scheduled to occur on August 29.
Event #3 was also looked upon. The $125,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack has already happened.
There is also another High roller event, the final match of the series. It has an incredible buy-in range of between $215 and $2000. The No-Limit Holdem High Roller 6-Max takes place on August 31.
Six of the tourneys have a guarantee of $100,000, while others have more. Seven of the twelve events have an affordable entry fee of $320 or much less. Unfortunately, the game choices are limited to No-Limit Hold’em except for one Omaha contest.
Other Offers To Take Advantage Of
Besides the guaranteed prizes, participants stand a chance to win other valued offers. The first offer is a qualification pathway for the second offer.
This is a $10k Player of the Month Leaderboard running in the Rio Online Circuit series. The top ten players will get a fraction of the $10,000 of tournament buy-ins.
The best of the ten players will also get a direct entry into a Gold Bracelet event, dubbed the $250,000 Year-End Championship. These gold ring events will reward leaderboard points.
There is a $25,000 freeroll that will take place three days after the Rio Online Circuit Event comes to an end. This offer is for the top ten winners who will have participated in the Player of the Month competition. Also, winners of the gold rings will have a chance to get this offer.
Also happening on September 3 is another Freeroll, called Grinder’s Only Second Chance Freeroll. Players who participate in at least three Gold Ring events are eligible to get into this freeroll. The winner will win a ticket to the $250,000 Year End Championship Event.
Lastly, the year’s closing event, dubbed Year End Championships, will see players get a piece of the $250,000 in prizes. The champion will also go home with a highly sort WSOP Gold Bracelet. But, the contest is an invite-only match with several ways to get into it.
The most obvious ways are to be among the top 50 in the Cumulative Circuit Leaderboard this year or win a Player of the Month Leaderboard. Also, the winners of any Gold Ring Event and the Grinder’s Online Second Chance Freeroll will play in the event.
There are 13 Circuit series happening this year. Eight of these have already occurred, with one going on at the moment. If you don’t get a chance to participate in the Rio Circuit, you can take advantage of others to come.
